1. Memorial Beach Challenge in Ocean City

When: Saturday, May 25, 2024 – Events start at 7:35 a.m.  

Where: Ocean City Music Pier, 825 Boardwalk, Ocean City, NJ 08226  

What: Dive into the 2024 Memorial Beach Challenge on Ocean City’s beautiful beachfront. The day will begin with a wreath-laying ceremony and national anthem, followed by obstacle course races and a special fun run for kids. Proceeds benefit 31Heroes, supporting service members and veterans.

2. Collingswood May Fair

When: Saturday, May 25, 2024, 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.  

Where: Haddon Avenue, Collingswood, NJ  

What: Collingswood, New Jersey will be bursting with art, music, and activities for all ages as Collingswood Partners hosts the 43rd Annual May Fair. What began in 1979 as a small “clothesline art exhibit” now encompasses more than a mile of the business district.

3. Wildwoods International Kite Festival

When: Friday, May 24, 2024 - Monday, May 27, 2024  

Where: Wildwoods Beach at Rio Grande Avenue and inside the Wildwoods Convention Center  

What: Kites of all shapes and sizes will invade the Wildwoods skyline! This family-friendly free event features kite flyers from around the world, workshops, activities, and more. The event begins on Friday at noon with the Unlocking of the Ocean media event, and continues with kite sales, social events, and illuminated night kite fly. Saturday and Sunday include auctions and kite flying, and Monday features the World Indoor Kite Exhibition.

4. Wildwood Food Truck & Music FEASTival

When: Sunday, May 26, 2024, 12:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.  

Where: Byrne Plaza, Wildwood, NJ  

What: Kick off Memorial Day Weekend with the Wildwood Music and Food Truck FEASTival. Enjoy a variety of food from 15 food trucks, live entertainment from DJ Louis Music all day, artist vendors, and kids' activities including bungee trampoline, face painting, sand art, inflatables, mini golf, slide, and inflatable hatchet throwing.

5. Ventnor City Summer Beach Jam

When: Saturday, May 25, 2024, 5:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.  

Where: Newport Ave Beach, Ventnor City, NJ  

What: Voted “Best of the Press” for Best Concert Venue 2023, the Ventnor City Summer Beach Jam kicks off Memorial Day Weekend with a local happy hour segment featuring local bands and musicians. The evening includes performances by The Voice of Ventnor, Ricky Stevens at 5:30 p.m., and The Inka Band (Santana Cover Band) at 7:00 p.m.

6. Saint Margaret's Annual Carnival

When: Saturday, May 25, 2024, 6:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.  

Where: Woodbury Heights, NJ  

What: Enjoy a family-fun week of carnival rides and games, along with delicious food, a beer garden, and music.

7. Memorial Day Services in Berlin Borough

When: Monday, May 27, 2024, starting at 8:00 a.m.  

Where: Various locations in Berlin Borough, NJ  

What: Join Berlin Borough in honoring our fallen heroes with services starting at New Brooklyn Cemetery at 8:00 a.m., and continuing at multiple locations including Hopewell Cemetery, War Memorial Berlin Borough, Berlin Township Veterans Memorial, East Berlin Cemetery, Gate of Heaven, and Berlin Cemetery.
