St. Patrick's Day Parades & Events in the South Jersey Area

Whether you're Irish or not, St. Patrick's Day is always a fun holiday to celebrate with friends and family! From parades to parties, there are plenty of ways to get in the St. Patrick's Day spirit in our local area!

Here are some great St. Patrick's Day events coming up nearby:

1. Atlantic City St. Patrick's Day Parade: Sat, 3/12 at 1pm

Head on down to the Jersey Shore to celebrate St. Patrick's Day on the Atlantic City Boardwalk! The parade begins North of the Garden Pier and the Boardwalk ending at Albany Avenue and the Boardwalk. It will feature pipe bands, string bands, and so much more!

2. Annual Sea Isle City St. Patrick's Parade: Sat, 3/12 from 2-5pm

Sea Isle is another great spot to celebrate St. Patty's! The parade starts at 84th East Landis Ave and ends at Kix-McNutley's, 63rd St.

3. North Wildwood St. Patrick's Parade: Sat, 3/12 at 11:30am

Details from website: The celebration begins @ 11:30am on the outside steps of North Wildwood City Hall, 901 Atlantic Avenue. Parade to follow the ceremony, marching down Atlantic Avenue (North) to 1st Avenue and proceeding West into the Entertainment District.

A Catholic Mass honoring Irish Heritage will also be held at St. Ann Church of Notre Dame La Mer Parish in Wildwood at 10 a.m. before the ceremony.

In the case of rain, ceremony and festivities will be moved to the inside of the North Wildwood Recreation Center located at 9th and Central Avenues.

4. Philadelphia St. Patrick's Day Parade: Sunday, 3/13 at 11am

The Philadelphia St. Patrick's Day parade is technically a tradition older than the United States itself! This year is the 250th Anniversary of the event, which started originally in 1771! Bars and restaurants throughout the city will also be offering their own parties and festivities this day.

The parade festivities kick off at 11am at 16th Street and JFK Boulevard.

If you're coming from South Jersey, take PATCO and get off at 8th and Market for prime access. Any PATCO stop will take you within walking distance of the parade route!

5. Cape May Parade and Polar Plunge: Sat, 3/19 at 11am - 10pm

To start the weekend, join us at Carney's on Friday, March 16th to crown our Plunge King and Queen, dancing and live music!
