A tradition since 1931, this week-long festival includes a Miss and Mr Medford Pageant, the Canoe Carnival Ball, and a Mardi Gras night and culminates with a parade of elaborately hand-built floats atop canoes.

The town also hosts Summer Camp programs, Women's Clubs, an athletic association, Boy Scout programs, and a Country Club.
