Your Guide to the 2022 Atlantic City Airshow
The world-famous Atlantic City Airshow, a "Salute to Those Who Serve," will be back again this summer on Wednesday, August 24th! Be sure to mark your calendars and enjoy all of the aviation action one could ever dream of seeing!
Even though this year will mark the 17th Annual "Thunder Over the Boardwalk" Airshow... airshows have been around in Atlantic City since 1910! The first Airshow in 1910 was named the "Atlantic City Air Carnival," and attracted over 100,000 visitors to our very own Jersey Shore. This event has continued making history, year after year... drawing in over half a million (!) spectators to view the jawdropping air acts in person!
If you haven't been to an AC Airshow yet... what are you waiting for? It's an experience every resident of New Jersey must pursue at least once! Here's everything you need to know for 2022's Atlantic City Airshow:
Practice Day: August, 23rd at 11am (start time is tentative)

PARKING: Parking is available throughout Atlantic City (free and paid parking, subject to availability). You'll want to arrive early if you're coming the day of to ensure that you are parked well before the show's start. We recommend having a plan in mind for wherever you plan to watch! Here are your best options to enjoy the airshow:
FROM THE LAND: Atlantic City’s FREE beaches and Boardwalk have great views of the Airshow. Ocean-facing hotel rooms and outdoor venues will also have views of the show.
FROM THE WATER: Those wishing to view the Airshow from the ocean are welcome, but should be aware that there will be a “no boat zone” restricting boaters except for the U.S. Coast Guard, police and other marine units, from approaching too close to the Atlantic City beach.
As always, boaters are encouraged to practice safe boating and wear life jackets at all times.

"Pre-flight" Checklist
Check out these helpful hints to optimize your experience, directly provided by the Atlantic City Airshow:
Protect yourself with sunscreen.
Wear light clothing in the hot weather.
Bring snacks and water to stay refreshed.
Bring sunglasses for optimal sight of the show.
Cameras and binoculars are a great way to capture the action.
Beach accessories, chairs, umbrellas, hats and bathing suits are welcomed on the beach.
Bring a portable radio and tune it to WPG Talk Radio 95.5 FM and 1450 AM to hear all of the commentary for the show.
